At Kresge, Platt and Abare we pride ourselves not only on exceeding our clients’ needs but also on being active within our community. Recently KPA participated in the Tools for Schools outreach project in an effort to supply schools in St. Johns County with necessary supplies for teachers and students. Coordinated through the St. Johns Education Foundation and the St. Johns County Chamber Ambassadors, the Tools for Schools program collected student and classroom supplies, writing instruments and paper products for under-stocked classrooms. Together KPA and our staff donated about 200 pieces of school supplies valued at approximately $400.00 to this cause.
In May, KPA took part in a food drive benefitting the Flagler County Resource Center and the Salvation Army food bank. Both of these organizations provide assistance to the residents of Flagler County and KPA was proud to support their cause, collecting eight bags of food to be donated to those in need.
Relay for Life has aided the American Cancer Society in the battle for cancer nationwide and KPA took the opportunity to participate in March. Our team was able to raise over $3,500 for the American Cancer Society. Locally, the event raised over $40,000 for the fight against cancer and to raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment. KPA was honored to have the chance to be a part of this incredible effort.
We recognize that our communities are made up of our clients. To show our support, KPA strives to be a positive influence within those communities and provide assistance to those in need.
