On December 10, the Kresge, Platt & Abare staff traveled to Starke, Florida to participate in a full day of team building exercises at Camp Montgomery. While completing low and high ropes challenge courses, staff members enhanced their team- and trust-building techniques which can be carried into the workplace. The annual retreat, led by certified ropes course instructors, provides staff members the opportunity to work together outside of the office environment and enhances the professional relationships among all levels of staff.
"The retreat allows us all to work together as a team in an unfamiliar environment, which enhances the trust we have for each other as colleagues. The high and low ropes courses assist us in the development of new problem-solving techniques as well as facilitating communication and confidence among all firm members," says Stephanie Hunter, Marketing Coordinator for Kresge, Platt & Abare.
As 2010 comes to a close, Kresge, Platt & Abare is finalizing a year-long strategic planning process.
